Doreen RSL recently hosted a Veterans Forum with Minister for Veterans Affairs Hon. Matt Keogh.

Members that attended included Hon Matt Keogh MP, Minister for Veterans Affairs, Rob Mittchel MP for McEwan, RSL Victoria President Dr Robert Webster OAM FCPA FAPI FRICS, RSL Victoria Executive Member Mr Ange Kenos JP and many others.

Held at Five Vineyard Menda, a number of members from local RSL’s in the electorate were invited to attend and submit questions for the Minister. There were quite a few questions and he answered all of the ones presented to him.

The discussion was long and in depth for each answer given by the minister and many got the answers they sought.

After the formal question and asnwer, there was time for a general meet and greet where the minister answered some off the cuff questions and the minister answered all in good time. 

Some food and refreshments were served while the digintaries had their photos taken with some of the representatives of the local RSL’s.

Doreen RSL was proud to have been able to host the MInister  and to give some local RSL’s the opportunity to voice thier concerns and question the minister in person.

We hope to be able to host more events in the near future to help us help the Veteran community.
