We had a really enjoyable afternoon outing today. It started with a picturesque coach ride out to the sunny Yarra Valley.

We arrived at Coombe Yarra Valley & started with a group photo with Dame Nellie Melba in the front garden. We then headed inside, where we were seated in a private room for afternoon tea. The room was actually the gallery, which contained various paintings, maps & memorabilia from bygone years when Nellie lived on the property. The surroundings offered a perfect place to sit & enjoy our high tea in.

Afterwards, some explored the grounds, some shopped in the larder & others visited the cellar for a sneaky tasting or two, before our coach ride home.
